Russia & St. Petersburg

Russia is the largest country in the world, with a landmass spanning over an eighth of the world's total land area. It has a population of approximately 142 million people, giving it the ninth largest population in the world. The country extends through such a vast area, that there are eleven different time-zones throughout Russia, and also many different types of environments throughout two continents. The diversity throughout the whole of Russia makes it a truly fascinating place.

Although June is one of the most popular months to visit St Petersburg due to the mild climate, it is recommended that a vistor to St Petersburg always comes prepared for changing weather. The average temperature in June is 18 degrees celsius.
